Guest Lecture on Awareness of Tuberculosis
Guest Lecture has been organized on the topic the ‘Awareness of Tuberculosis’ on 18th Jan. 2019. Speaker was Dr. Chaugule H.N., Sasoon Hospital, BJM Clinical Trial Unit, Pune. During his lecture, speaker explained the importance of creating awareness of Tuberculosis. He provided information regarding causes, symptoms, treatment of tuberculosis. He also discussed about patients already taking DOTs treatment for TB. He told about the new central government innovative ‘miss call’ scheme for creating awareness to stop the spread of this life threatening disease. Principal Dr.K.R.Khandelwal, staff members and all the students were present during the lecture. Overall lecture was very informative. All doubts of students were solved. Introduction was given by Prof. Deshpande Trupti and vote of thanks given by Prof. Shastri Manjiri
