Guest Lecture on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

JSPM’s Rajarshi shahu college of pharmacy and research, Tathawade, Pune organized Guest Lecture on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome’ (PCOS), Women Empowerment Program under women’s grievance redressal cell on Friday, 13/09/2019 in Seminar hall of our institute. This time we were fortunate to listen talk by Dr. Madhuri Roy, Managing Director; Conceive IVF, consultant IVF and Reproductive Medicine, Pune. 1 st September is celebrated as PCOS day and Month as PCOS Awareness Month, which is observed to increase awareness of, and education about, PCOS among the general public, women, girls and healthcare professionals. The aim of PCOS Awareness Month is to help improve the lives of those affected by PCOS and to help them to overcome their symptoms as well as prevent and reduce their risks for life-threatening related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer. Whole event was helpful to our ladies staff and girls students in developing the habit of eating nutritious food stuff to avoid PCOS.
