JSPMs Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade organized Food Adulteration Awareness Camp on 29th Jan 2020. To create awareness regarding food adulteration, our students demonstrated simple techniques for detection of adulterants in food material which were categories as Spices, grains, Milk and milk products, sugar & honey ect. Students also provided information regarding food consumption, incidence and prevalence of biological risk, residues of various contaminants in foods products, identification of emerging risks and introduction of rapid alert system, food safety and food standards. Umesh Panchal (T.Y.B.Pharm.) gives an informative speech regarding food adulteration and safety. Principal Dr. K. R. Khandelwal guided the students for the event. Prof. A. N. Tankar, Prof. N. N. Dharmadhikar, Prof. A. R. Supekar, Department of Pharmacognosy took special efforts to make the event successful.Many doubts were cleared during the camp. Programme has been highly appreciated by all the institutions of Tathawade campus
