NSS activity :Blood Donation and Free Health Check Up Camp
NSS Unit of JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade organized Blood Donation Camp in association with Sanjeewani Blood Bank, Bhosari, Pune on 22nd February 2025. Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Dr. S. D. Ambawade, CCSEA Nominee, Pune.
Blood Donation Camp started at 10:00 am. Experts of Blood bank delivered the informative speech to the students demonstrating donated blood would be used for saving the lives of the injured and the sick. Mr. Ajay and Ms. Shravani, member of Blood bank talked about facts/ myths/ Blood Groups related information. The camp included Blood Pressure check-up, Blood Sugar check-up, Blood group detection, Haemoglobin check up and general physical examination. Necessary medical advices were given to the staff and students Dr. K. R. Khandelwal, Principal of JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade motivated students and staff for blood donation. 111blood bags were collected successfully.
Program was conducted smoothly under the guidance of NSS member Mrs. Minal C. Solanki and NSS Coordinator Mr. A. N. Tankar. The certificate of Donation, Earphones and refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
