NSS activity: Netra Dan Vyakhan
NSS Unit of JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Pharmacy and Research, Tathawade organized Netra Dan Vyakahyan on 24th February 2025.
Eye Donation lecture started at 10:00 am. Prof. Minal Solanki explained importance of eye donation. Prof. Minal explained that anyone can be a donor irrespective of age, sex, blood group or religion. She explained that anyone with cataract, long/short sightedness, operated eyes or common illnesses can donate eyes. Ms. Dnyaneshwari Tapkir Third Year B. Pharm students delivered the importance of eye donation through her words. Prof. Minal spread awareness that all facilities for eye donation are provided free of cost at Govt institutes and NGOs. She instructed that Willing persons may get themselves registered at an eye bank. After their death the eye bank must be informed and their team will come over to extract the cornea.
Program was conducted smoothly under the guidance of NSS member Mrs. Minal C. Solanki and NSS Coordinator Mr. A. N. Tankar.
